Best of Luck to our 14 World Qualifiers who will be representing the Richens/Timm Academy at The World Championships of Irish Dance, Oireachtas Rince na Cruinne, in Glasgow, Scotland from March 28-April 4, 2010! We are very proud of their hard work and dedication to their dancing.

North American Qualifiers...

The Richens/Timm Academy of Irish Dance has two new national champions among its students. Collin Mountain (in the adjacent photo) of Grove City, age eight, and Michael Holland of Hilliard, age 20, have both won their respective age divisions at the North American Championships of Irish Dance, held July 3-7 in Orlando, Florida. Over 3,800 dancers competed in this year's event with spectator attendance estimated at 12,000.
In addition, the following Richens/Timm dancers placed at the national event:
- Lyndsey Faherty, 8th place
- Patrick Holland, 13th place
- Brian Gibson, 14th place
- Katie Higgins, 21st place
- Molly Newell, 32nd place
- Lauren Olney, 33rd place
- Amber Chapell, 36th place
- Emily Sweeney, 43rd place
- Shannon Joyce, 45th place
- Greta Garland, 53rd place.
Other Richens/Timm dancers who competed were: Brooke Heidenthal, Connor Cashman, Megan Hurley, Jessica Sweet, Anna McDonough and Sarah Motter.
